Catering Supervisor | University Hall

Full time (40 hours per week) during university term time

Join our vibrant catering team at University Hall, where you’ll play a key role in creating a fantastic dining experience for our students. As a Catering Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the action, ensuring a smooth operation, maintaining top quality standards, and providing excellent service every day!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in food production and storage areas.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and drinks machines are well kept.
• Assist chefs with food prep, presentation, and service.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Manage stock control and supplies.

Personal Attributes:

• Team player with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards, including food safety.
• Passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn.

Established in 1894, the UCSA is a registered not-for-profit organisation that supports UC students to succeed and belong.

Our organisation is governed by an elected Student Executive, and we employ over 300 staff. Together, we dish up a range of student-focused services, including advocacy and welfare, representation, subsidised dental and optometry, early learning centres, club support, events, and media.

The UCSA commercial team manages several cafes and bars, as well as sizeable catering and events teams delivering services to students, staff, external customers and commercial partners.
