Chef de Partie
32 hours per week Chef de Partie role assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen - working at all UCSA establishments
The role
Based in the kitchen at The Foundry in Ilam, but also available to work at all UCSA establishments, the main responsibility of the Chef de Partie is to assist the Head Chef and the rest of the Kitchen team in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and to coordinate particular sections of production as designated by the Head Chef.
You must have/be:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
- Level 3 National Certificate in Hospitality (Professional Cookery) ideal
- Excellent leadership, communication and people skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask, show initiative and work well under pressure
- Experience dealing with suppliers and the ordering processes
- Honest, dependable, diligent, flexible and enthusiastic
This is a 32 hour per week position. Weekend and evening work will be expected.
